1Who we are

Evac Line (“the game”, “we”, “us”) is an independent game made by a solo developer. It is available on the web at evacline.netlify.app and as an Android app on the Solana dApp Store.

This policy explains what information the game handles, why, and what you can do about it. It applies to the website and the app.

2How you play

You choose how much the game stores. There are three ways to play:

ModeWhat leaves your device
TrialNothing. Your run lives only in memory and is gone when you close the game.
BackupYou paste a public Solana address or a .skr name. We store your progress under it, together with a random code that ties the backup to your device. This mode is not ranked.
WalletYou sign in with a Solana wallet by signing a short text message. We store your public address, progress and scores, so you can earn rewards and appear on the leaderboard.
Signing in is free Signing in only signs a plain text message that proves you own the address. It is not a transaction. It costs no fees and moves no funds.

3What we collect

Account details (wallet mode)

  • Public wallet address. It identifies your account. The signed sign-in message is used only to confirm that you own the address.
  • Callsign. An optional player name of 3 to 16 characters that you choose.
  • .skr name. Stored only if you enter one.

Game data

  • Progress: unlocked levels, stars, supplies, upgrades, squad and heroes, settings, and the time of your last save.
  • Daily Challenge results: score, civilians saved, stars and kills for each day.
  • Reward records: your first sign-in bonus, daily spins and weekly prize claims, so that each is paid only once.

Backup mode

  • The public address or .skr name you pasted, your progress, and a random device code. The code is created by the game and is not linked to your phone's hardware or advertising ID.

Stored on your device

  • The game keeps your progress, settings and that random device code in local storage (browser storage on the web, app storage on Android). Clearing site data or uninstalling the app removes them.

Technical data

  • Like any website, our hosting and database providers may briefly record standard request data, such as IP address, browser type and time, for security and to keep the service running. We don't use this data to identify you or build profiles.

4What we never collect

We will never ask for your seed phrase Nobody from Evac Line will ever ask for your recovery phrase or private key, in the game, by email or anywhere else. If someone does, it's a scam.
  • No email address, phone number, real name, date of birth or photos.
  • No precise or approximate location, and no contacts.
  • No advertising IDs, ad networks, third-party analytics or tracking cookies.
  • No payment card details. There are no in-app purchases.
  • We don't read your wallet's tokens, NFTs or transaction history, and we never ask you to approve a transaction.

5How we use it

  • To save your progress and restore it on another device.
  • To run the Daily Challenge, the leaderboards and the weekly top-20 prizes.
  • To pay in-game rewards once and stop cheating, for example by rejecting impossible scores.
  • To fix bugs and keep the game secure.

We do not sell, rent or trade your information, and we don't use it for advertising.

6What others can see

If you play in wallet mode, other players can see your leaderboard entries. Each entry shows your callsign (or a shortened wallet address if you haven't set one), your scores, the civilians you saved and your stars.

Remember that Solana wallet addresses are public by nature. Anyone who knows your address can look it up on a blockchain explorer, whether or not you play Evac Line.

7Services we use

We rely on a few providers to run the game. They process data on our behalf, under their own privacy policies:

ProviderWhat for
SupabaseDatabase, sign-in and saved progress
NetlifyHosting the website
Your wallet appPhantom, Solflare, Backpack, Seed Vault or another wallet you choose handles the connection and signing. We never receive your keys.
Solana dApp StoreDistributing the Android app

These providers may store data on servers outside your country. We share data with authorities only when the law requires it.

8How long we keep it

  • Wallet accounts: kept while you play. We may delete accounts that have been inactive for a long time.
  • Backups: kept until you tap REMOVE in the game, which deletes the backup from our servers right away.
  • Leaderboard scores: kept so past results and weekly prizes stay correct. They are deleted with your account.
  • Trial mode: nothing is kept.

9Your choices

Wherever you live, you can ask us to:

  • See the data we hold about your address.
  • Correct it, for example to change your callsign.
  • Delete your account, progress and scores.
  • Export your data in a portable format.

Email us from any address and include your wallet address or .skr name. We may ask you to sign a short message in your wallet to prove the account is yours. We aim to reply within 30 days. Depending on where you live (for example the EU, UK or California), you may also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

10Security

Data travels over encrypted HTTPS connections. The database uses row-level security, so each account can read and write only its own saves. Backups can be changed only from the device that created them. No system is perfectly secure, but we keep what we store small, which keeps the risk small too.

11Children

Evac Line is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect data from them. Wallet mode is meant for players who are old enough to hold a crypto wallet where they live. If you believe a child has created an account, email us and we will delete it.

12Changes

If we change this policy, we'll post the new version on this page and update the date at the top. For important changes, we'll also let players know in the game.
